Why am I not getting 7 kWh free energy?

If you’ve started a session and noticed you're being charged from the start, it is usually due to one of the following reasons:
 

1. You haven't selected the "Daily 7 kWh" subscription

7 kWh daily free energy is tied to our Daily 7 kWh subscription. If you didn't select this during sign-up, you can update it in seconds:

  1. Open the JOLT app.

  2. Go to Account > Membership.

  3. Tap Upgrade/Explore Memberships and select the Daily 7 kWh plan.

  4. Once selected, your 7 kWh allowance will be available immediately!
     

2. You have already used your allowance today

Your 7 kWh of free energy resets every 24 hours at midnight. If you have already charged today and used the full 7 kWh, any additional charging sessions will be charged at the standard per-kWh rate until the next day.
 

3. You are on a JOLT Plus Membership

Some of our premium JOLT Plus memberships focus on lower per-kWh rates or other benefits rather than the daily free 7 kWh.

  • To check what’s included in your specific plan, go to Account > Membership in the app to view your plan inclusions.
     

4. The "Service Fee" to Connect

Please note that even on the Daily 7 kWh plan, a small service fee applies to every charging session. This fee helps us maintain the network and keep the first 7 kWh free for everyone, every day.
