What's Autocharge? 

Autocharge allows your EV to automatically start a charging session when plugged into a JOLT charger.

Once you've activated Autocharge, the charger will recognise your vehicle and begin charging automatically - no need to start the session through the app.

Simply plug in, and your charge will start.

Who’s eligible for Autocharge?

To use Autocharge, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

✅ You have a JOLT Plus Membership
✅ Your vehicle is registered in the JOLT App
✅ You’ve charged your vehicle at least twice on JOLT’s network since 18 September 2025
✅ Your vehicle uses a CCS2 connector
✅ You have an Australian or New Zealand account (...and charge here.)

How do I set up Autocharge?

If you’re eligible, you’ll see a prompt in the JOLT App inviting you to activate Autocharge.

Follow the prompt to register your vehicle. Once registration is complete, the next time you charge, simply plug in and your charging session will start automatically.

Important information:

• A vehicle can only be registered to one JOLT account
• If Autocharge has already been set up on another account, it cannot be registered again
• Short-term rental vehicles are not eligible for Autocharge
• Some vehicles may not be compatible with Autocharge, please see Compatible Vehicle with Autocharge for more information.
