How to Stop Charging (and what to do if the App freezes)

1. Use the JOLT App 

  1. Open the JOLT app

  2. On the active charging screen, tap 'Stop Charging'

  3. Wait for the session to stop and the connector to unlock (you may hear a click).

  4. Return the connector to the holster.

If you're not seeing the charging screen in the app but your vehicle is charging, force quit the app and re-open.

 

2. Use Your Vehicle 

If the JOLT app is not responding, you can stop the charge directly from your car:

  • Look for a "Stop Charging" or "Unlock Port" button on your vehicle’s touchscreen.
     


3. Troubleshooting: App frozen or still charging?

  • Check the Car: If your car dashboard says "Charging Stopped," the session is over. You are safe to unplug

  • Give it 30 seconds: There is often a short delay between the charger stopping and the app updating

  • Force Quit the App: If the app hangs or freezes, close it completely and re-open it. This refreshes the data
