Depending on the location, JOLT fast chargers use CCS1 connectors, while JOLT Level 2 chargers use SAE J1772 connectors.
You may choose to use an adapter; however, use of adapters is entirely voluntary and at the adapter owner's/operator's own risk. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your adapter.
Before charging, inspect the adapter, charging connector, charging port, and cord head for:
- Debris
- Bent or broken pins
- Burn marks
- Signs of melting or other damage
If you notice any of these issues, do not use the charger or adapter. Replace the damaged adapter before your next charging session, and report any damaged JOLT charging connector to JOLT Support.
JOLT does not support generic or non-approved adapters. Drivers are responsible for maintaining their adapters and ensuring they are safe to use. Using a damaged or non-OEM adapter may cause damage to your vehicle or JOLT charging equipment.
You can view the available connector type and charging speed for each location in the JOLT app.
